I picked up a few more tips during Spring Barrel Weekend. Next time we go tasting, everyone bring your own address labels. You can put them on the bottle or the top of the spout. When we get home, we know who it belongs to.
2nd tip: You know how we hate it when our husbands go into our wine stash and open up a wonderful bottle on a regular day and you were saving it for a special meal? Here's the way to help him remember to only open the cheaper bottle: write on the bottle how much it cost! And if the winemaker has told you when to open, write that, too.
Let's bring our own glasses, also. Wineries will appreciate it.
Wash your glasses in between wineries, and only rinse between reds and whites, not between reds.
